I am not impressed with the racing that we have seen over the last two weeks. Do not mistake the finish of the race on Sunday, for it being a good race. So the Daytona 500 has come to pass for another year. The excitement of the Great American Race has come and gone. What an interesting day it was for sure on Sunday. We had all the pageantry of opening day for NASCAR’s biggest series, as well as seeing all of our favorite drivers finally hitting the track.
This week we get begin in indulging in another great sporting spectacular, the Winter Olympics. I guess I am junky for the Olympics because I enjoy the competitions in all forms. I will admit that ever four years I am intrigued to watch Curling. I like the game because it is probably the only winter game left that I could ever remotely possibly qualify to be an Olympic athlete. I also like the fact that the game has a lot of strategy.
