Hamlin Calls His Shot and Chase Standings

The racing has been completed at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway with Denny Hamlin taking out a big giant whooping stick and laying it to the field. Hamlin came from the 28th starting position to lead most of the race and take the win. 

The more impressive part of the win was the fact that Hamlin called the win on Twitter after the fuel debacle at Chicago last week. Hamlin said he would win the race this week and his prediction was true. If you are in the Chase this year, you have to fear what Hamlin did today as we move forward. 

Next week we move on to Dover. The Monster Mile awaits with the high concrete banks. Jimmie Johnson finished second today and I look for him to run well next week as well. Roush Racing should have a good showing as well in Dover. More on the upcoming race later this week.
