With all of the marbles ready to be captured on Sunday, the biggest question I have for Homestead is whether Tony Stewart and Carl Edwards can continue to run up front as they have. These two drivers have been lights out over the last couple of weeks. They have not made mistakes on the track, and the crews in the pits have been solid.
I am going to watch how both of these drivers use strategy during the race on Sunday. Will one of these teams take a different strategy in the race? We cannot say yet, but it will be worth watching.
We are going back to a mile and a half track and that means fuel can come into play. Both of the drivers contending for the championship have shown they can stretch fuel. Could a call on lap 30 setup an eventual make or break moment at the end of the race? Tune in Sunday to find out.
Who has the ultimate advantage in the final 400 miles of the season? I am going to give the edge to Stewart. Edwards does not have a championship in the Sprint Cup Series. Stewart has two previous championships. Smoke sees the sparks and is ready to ignite to his third championship.
So there it is my friends, Stewart will be crowned the champ on Sunday.
